Lake Erie Fishing Report, Lake Erie Fishing report for june 2011

Finally the Walleye have arrived in good numbers off Fairport in the Central Basin of Lake Erie. Lots of big fish from 27"-30" being caught in deeper water than normal 65- 72 feet, but only 25-30 ft. down. A few big Steelhead are also being caught. 40 jet divers do the job with Stinger Spoons attached. Lake Erie Walleye fishing got off to a slow start with the bad spring we had but is shaping up to be a banner year. Allot of younger Lake Erie Walleye being caught as well and that is always a welcome site.
